$275 per hunter
Join Going Dark Outfitters for a guided duck hunt in the La Grange, Texas area with waterfowl guide Brendan Maddox.
Every hunter must have a current Federal Duck Stamp and have completed a Hunter Safety Education course. Please bring proof of course completion to the hunt.
- Non-refundable booking deposit: $150 per hunter
The remaining balance is due before the hunt begins:
- Without a rental gun: $125 per hunter
- With a rental gun: $175 per hunter
Hunt start times and the meeting location will be sent before your hunt. Bird activity and harvest can vary.
Hunters must arrive at the meeting location by 4:30 AM for a safety briefing and to complete the required waivers. Depending on the hunting location, the group will leave the meeting spot around 5:00 AM. Our goal is to be set up in the blind or in position by 6:00 AM.
Hunt Schedule
- 4:30 AM: Arrive at the meeting location to complete waivers and forms, review safety rules, and go over the hunt plan.
- 5:00 AM: Head to the hunting location.
- 5:30–6:00 AM: Set up the blind, decoys, and other gear.
- 6:00 AM: Quiet time in the blind.
- 6:00–6:30 AM: Shooting light begins.
- 9:00 AM: The hunt is scheduled to end if limits are reached or guests are ready to wrap up. On colder days or when birds are flying later, the hunt may continue until 12:00 PM.
